Empire City: 1931 is an arcade video game developed by Seibu Kaihatsu in 1986, published by Taito (for the Japanese and European markets) and Romstar (for the North American market).
It’s a first person shooter.
The game is set in 1931 New York.
the player takes on the role of an FBI agent, who must eliminate mafia gangsters from the city.
The player uses the joystick to move a crosshair trying to locate enemies and eliminate them.
He must also try not to get hit by enemy bullets, otherwise he will lose a life.
There are 9 stages. The final boss at 9th level is the mafia boss, who is hiding behind a window. There is only one chance to kill him.
If you manage to eliminate him, the game restarts from the beginning.
It’s known as Street Fight in Germany.
It is emulated by MAME although there are imperfections in the audio emulation.
