DRAGON’S LAIR (ARCADE) - Description

Dragon’s Lair is an arcade video game developed by Cinematronics in 1983.
It’s an action game.

It was one of the first video games to use the laserdisc as a support for films.

The plot of the game is as follows:

Princess Daphne has been kidnapped by a dragon.

Once the knight Dirk the Daring enters the castle, he must overcome many trials until he fights the dragon and saves the princess.

The protagonist must perform a series of moves in the correct time and way, otherwise he will lose a life.

There are approximately 40 scenarios for a total of over 600 executable moves.

The cartoon graphics were amazing compared to what you would see in a coin op, but the gameplay system was difficult to learn.

Therefore few managed to finish it.

It is perfectly emulated by MAME.
