X Multiply (or X-Multiply) is an arcade video game developed and published by Irem in 1989.
It’s a horizontally scrolling shoot’em up.
Plot:
In the year 2249 humans colonized an extra-solar planet.
An alien species of microorganisms invades the planet, infecting its inhabitants.
A woman is infected by the alien queen Bykhee.
The humans, at this point, build a miniaturized vehicle, called X-002, injecting it into the woman’s body.
The small spaceship must overcome 7 levels and destroy enemies.
In X Multiply each level has a final boss.
Once the 7 levels are completed, the game restarts once with a higher difficulty.
It’s similar to R-Type arcade game.

1 and 8: Aliens Hostur
2 and 9: Head of the alien Rokusu
3 and 10: the 4 alien Zarikasu brothers
4 and 11: alien Ghoums
5 and 12: Aliens Hidra
6 and 13: Alienates Darya
7 and 14: alien queen Bykhee, then her 4 children
It’s emulated by MAME.
